Today, safeguarding the planet is at the top of global policy priorities and business growth and the protection of environmental heritage must go hand in hand. It therefore becomes essential for companies to start a sustainability journey aimed at measuring their environmental impact and supporting certified projects that absorb CO2 emissions. There is no activity in the world that does not produce carbon dioxide. However, CO₂ emissions can—and must—be offset, with the clear understanding that offsetting does not eliminate emissions at their source, but makes it possible to take concrete action by financing initiatives that prevent or balance out emissions elsewhere around the world.
The time has come to take greater responsibility and take concrete action.
A vision for the future
The Gattinoni Group has chosen to take an active role in sustainability. In partnership with the startup Up2You, it measures and reports its carbon emissions and supports Verra-certified projects. This approach involves all the Group’s Business Units and also enables it to offer tailored sustainability projects to companies in the Business Travel and Events sectors, as well as travel solutions for consumers.
Additionally, together with 3Bee, the Gattinoni Group created a Biodiversity Oasis in Lombardy in 2023, focused on the study and monitoring of bees.
Together with Up2You, the Group voluntarily drafted the 2023 Sustainability Report and the 2024 Susainability Report, a concrete demonstration of the path it has taken towards a sustainable business model.
